The Red Onion - Maadi

This is a favourite expat hang-out.  The Spanish-style interior is awash with red light, creating a relaxed and casual atmosphere. Speakers emit the latest club music - but a level that still allows conversation.  Bartenders keep the beer flowing freely and peanut dishes stocked.

A cosy high-seating bar section in this faux retro establishment and a comfortable restaurant with easy seating.

The walls are honey-hued, subdued and soothing. The farthest wall is exposed to show the original -just kidding;-) - stone walls.
