Ace Club – Maadi
June 7, 2008 by admin
The Association of Cairo Expatriates (ACE) , just celebrated it’s 10th anniversary and it just keeps going from strength to strength. One of the most popular and well known venues in Maadi – we strongly reccommend you check it out.
Started in 1998, ACE is a club for members and their guests run by the members themselves. The venue is housed in spacious villa and is located in a central position within Maadi. It is easily accessed and has more than adequate parking.
The main bar has TV’s in all corners for sporting events, news and music. French doors – which open onto a bright and sunny patio and garden area – are sure to tempt you outside on warm summer evenings.
A play area for children which includes swings, slides and a play house are within easy sight of the umbrella shaded seating area, allowing parents to enjoy a relaxing drink or meal while still keeping an eye on the smaller members of thier household.
Upstairs is another bar with a 60″ plasma TV as well as another al fresco seating are which also overlooks the garden and gives a great view out over Maadi and Victory Park.
The only thing required for membership is that you are a foreign passports holder. Contact the club directly for more details.
Pub grub available in all locations. Try the Fish & Chips and make sure you check out the Daily Specials blackboard behind the bar. We haven’t had a bad meal there yet.
The club in managed and run by a Western expat team.
Alcohol is served & free wireless internet access
